Preparing for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Preparing for the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

GDPR or the General Data Protection Regulation is a new set of EU regulations due to come into force on 25th May 2018, as a replacement to the existing Data Protection Act. These rules are for personal data protection and every organisation within the EU must be compliant with the new regulations. GDPR will be implemented regardless of Brexit.

As a business, we have undertaken strict internal audits, reviewed all processes and procedures and implemented changes required, to ensure we are GDPR compliant for our customers.

We've partnered up with dataXchange to help our customers send us data and sensitive information the secure way.  Call our Data Bureau team on 01844 398880 or email data.process@ukpworldwide.com to get your login.

For a more detailed explanation on GDPR, please visit www.ico.org.uk, where they feature an informative weekly blog advising what businesses are required to do.
